
Kashmiri Pandits being aborigines of Kashmir are important Constituent of social, political and cultural fabric of Kashmir. The Community though descendant with their Contribution in flourishing of Kashmiryat remained upbeat with belief in Co-Existence having respect for each others genuine feelings. But due to nefarious designs of some anti-national elements Kashmiri Pandits have always been harassed.
In 1931 a group of Kashmiri Pandits formed the organization in Srinagar (Kashmir) , the 1st conference of the organization was presided over by Late Justice Jia Lal Kilam .Read more about the history of ASKPC HERE.
Few of the many development programmes of the organization are:
To fight for a separate homeland called "Kashyap State" where there is a free flow of Indian constitution.
To fight for the fulfillment of social,
political and economical aspirations of the community.
To promote the well-being and safeguard
the interests of the Kashmiri Pandits.
To eradicate social evils and bring about a healthy change in the social customs of the community.
To Strive for the upliftment of and
obtaining jobs for the educated migrant youth. The organization has a council, working committee and executive body.
